Whether in far flung corners of the globe, or in our own communities, we have arranged numerous custom courses that combine leadership training with rewarding service projects in local communities.

Boy Scout Troops
Whether ice climbing in the wilds of Alaska, climbing above 19,000 feet (5,700m) to the roof of Africa, or exploring remote canyons of the desert southwest; IWLS has the experience to arrange a custom adventure and technical skills course that meets the needs and goals of Scout troops around the world.
Corporate Team Building
The leadership development and team building derived from wilderness expedition based courses are tremendously effective and can last for years down the road; increasing efficiency, employee morale, and overall performance. IWLS has worked with numerous corporations to structure custom team building courses.
Government and Military
IWLS has hosted a series of technical skills training courses, leadership development programs and risk management seminars for elements of the U.S. Military, SAR organizations and other government entities.
IWLS has experience teaching students in a wilderness setting while still maintaining the diet and daily structure that supports religious customs. Whether on a climb of the tallest peak Africa or a month long expedition course in Alaska, IWLS is able to meet these unique needs in the wilderness.
