Preference is given to those who have attended IWLS courses. Email us your professional resume, outdoor resume, and cover letter if you are qualified to info@iwls.com.

Most of our IWLS instructors start as guides working for our sister companies- Alaska Mountain Guides Adventures and Chilkat Guides. These companies offer entry level, day trip guiding positions in Haines and Skagway AK. These programs also offers substantial training programs that allow them to hire well qualified novices. Many of our IWLS field staff start at this level and then work their way up over the course of several seasons. Many of those who ultimately become instructors have taken IWLS leadership and guide training courses.
